New Students – First-Time Logon

What is my username and password?

Network account:

Your network password is used for accessing network resources such as your student email (DC mail), Wi-Fi, printing and Office365 services.

Your username is your student ID number and the first time you login, your initial password is your birth date in MMDDYY format and you will be required to update this at first logon followed by the setup of Multi-factor authentication before you can access network resources.

To setup your account, navigate to www.dcmail.ca and enter your student/banner ID and your default password.  You will be prompted to change your password.

The next time you go to www.dcmail.ca you will be prompted to start the MFA and Self-service password reset setup.  Follow the prompts and visit our page HERE for a walkthrough of this setup if you need assistance.

Returning students

If you registered for Multi-factor authentication prior to September 1st, 2022 you will need to setup your account to register for self-service password reset.  If you have already completed this you can proceed to the self-service password reset link HERE to reset your network password.
