Mental Health Needs Assessment and Navigation

Mental Health Needs Assessment (MHNA):

CHWC’s Mental Health Needs Assessment is conducted for all Durham College students self-referring for mental health supports who have not previously accessed our services.  This assessment is conducted by a qualified mental health professional to evaluate the student’s needs and facilitate connection to appropriate resources, referrals, and support for navigating their mental health and wellness journey.

Please note:

    • This is not a doctors appointment and is not designed for handling crisis situations or emergencies and if you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health emergency or is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services (911) or go to the nearest emergency room.
    • If you have already completed a Mental Health Needs Assessment in the last six months, please look to book a follow up appointment through our Follow Up Appointments
