Mental Health Needs Assessment (MHNA):
CHWC’s Mental Health Needs Assessment is conducted for all Durham College students self-referring for mental health supports who have not previously accessed our services. These appointments are completed by a mental health professional where a standardized tool is utilized to determine a student’s needs to provide them with resources, appropriate referrals and support with next steps for navigating their mental health and wellness journey.
Please note:
*This is not a doctors appointment is not designed for handling crisis situations or emergencies
*If you have already completed a Mental Health Needs Assessment in the last four months, please look to book a follow up appointment through our specialized supports.
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health emergency or is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services (911) or go to the nearest emergency room.
