Events The Communications and Marketing department supports college corporate events. Additionally, the manager, Events and Special Projects, offers guidance and direction to help departments and programs host their own smaller events. Event planning checklist Event materials request form DC online store Event video and photography consent poster Add to calendar options on Evites Follow the instructions below to add an event to your calendar from an evite. Outlook 365 (PC) Download the ICS File by clicking the "Outlook+" button on the evite Save it to a location on your computer where you can easily access it. Open Outlook 365: Launch Outlook 365. Access Calendar: Navigate to the "Calendar" tab. You can usually find it in the bottom or top left corner of the Outlook window. Import the ICS File: In the Outlook Calendar view, go to the toolbar and click on "File." Choose "Open & Export" and then select "Import/Export." In the Import and Export Wizard, select "Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar file (.vcs)" and click "Next." Browse to the location where you saved the ICS file and select it. Click "Open" and then click "Next." If you are prompted to open this calendar as a new calendar or import its items into your calendar, click Import. Click "Finish" to complete the import process. View the Imported Event: The imported event should now appear in your Outlook Calendar. Outlook (Mac) Download the ICS File by clicking the "Mac+" button on the evite Save the ICS file to a location on your Mac where you can easily find it. Open Outlook Launch Outlook on your Mac Import the ICS File: Right click the ICS file and under "Open with" select Microsoft Outlook If Outlook doesn't appear, select Other and find Outlook within your Applications folder A draft event will appear in Outlook. Review and click Save and Close. View the Imported Event: The imported event should now appear in your Outlook Calendar.
