Video

Video is an important visual communication channel for the Durham College brand – videos should be of the highest quality.

 

Producing quality content takes time – in planning for video production, several factors are considered:

    • Pre-production – target audience, purpose/goal, storyboarding (if required), and scheduling.
    • Production – capturing, audio and lighting.
    • Post-production – video editing, audio editing, draft revisions, and colour correction.
    • Finalization – delivery, upload for distribution and any communications or social media-related initiatives.

 

DC maintains a YouTube channel featuring short and long-form videos that:

    • Promote the college’s vision and values.
    • Stream Spring and Fall Convocation ceremonies (annually).
    • Promote programs and recruitment-related initiatives, such as program videos and Open House.
