First Nations Resource Development Scholarship The First Nations Resource Development Scholarship is available to all status and non-status First Nations students enrolled in an eligible mining-related program. The scholarship is intended to assist with tuition, ancillary fees, and other program-related expenses, including, but not limited to, transportation, childcare, and accommodation costs. Students must: Be enrolled in an eligible program Be members of, or connected to a First Nation community in Ontario Provide verification of status or non-status Eligible Programs: Welding Engineering Technician Mechanical Techniques – Plumbing Electrical Engineering Technician Mechanical Engineering Technician Mechanical Engineering Technician - Non-Destructive Evaluation Mechanical Technician - Millwright Crane Operation, Rigging and Construction Techniques Power Engineering Techniques – Fourth Class Environmental Technology How to apply: Application is available via MyDC under the Financial Aid section using the self-service portal.
