Pre-Admission Testing Pre-admission assessment testing can be used by mature domestic applicants to meet admission requirements in English and/or math for certificate, diploma, advanced diploma programs, and graduate certificates. Domestic applicants that are 19 years of age or older as of the start date of their program, and who do not have the required program credit(s) i.e., Grade 12 English and/or Grade 12 math are eligible to take an admissions assessment test. How will I know my results? You will receive an Individual Score Report via e-mail immediately upon completion of your assessment. This report will inform you whether you have met the minimum admission requirements. Your scores will be submitted to Durham College Admission Services for processing. Check your e-mail or Ontario Colleges account for application updates. How many times can I take an assessment test? If you do not pass either the English or math assessment test, you must wait six months before you are eligible to retake the test you did not pass.
