Grade Submission

Learn about the new process

To help DC prepare to modernize our digital learning environment and secure our information systems, I.T. Services is changing how faculty members and facilitators upload grades from DC Connect to Banner.

📌 Note: Faculty members and facilitators are expected to use the new process to upload mid-term and final grades for 14-week courses and final grades for 7-week courses from now until Spring 2027.

Please review the announcement for complete details.

Registration is now open for faculty members wishing to take the following courses in the College Teaching Certificate (CTC):

Fall 2026 / Fridays, 9 to 11 a.m. In Person + 1 hour async/week

EDUC1101 • Course and Curriculum Development at the College Level
Spring 2026 / Fridays, 1 to 4 p.m. In Person + 3 hours async/week

How to Incorporate Generative AI

The permitted or prohibited use of GenAI in instructional activities and assessments must be explicitly communicated to students. Including a statement in the course outline and in the DC Connect course shell establishes a concrete directive on the use of GenAI in the course. New VR OPPORTUNITIES 📣 / August 30, 2024

Bodyswaps VR

Reminder: Bodyswaps licensing has been extended from April 2024 - March 2025. Bodyswaps will be available on a collection of 8 VR headsets, available for faculty members to borrow through IT Service Desk.

DC Holiday Closure

From Monday, December 25, 2023 through to Monday, January 2, 2024, Durham College will be closed for the holidays. Faculties and some departments, including the CTL, will be unavailable during this time. Faculty members seeking same day in-person or virtual support are encouraged to connect with the team when the college reopens on or after Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
