Content delivery refers to the different ways instructors can deliver files and media to students in order to enhance students' learning experience. Content may be downloaded or viewed online and may be private or publicly accessible.

How to use Content Delivery Tools

To deliver content, instructors can use a large variety of tools including DC Connect, public webpages, blogs, and virtual classrooms. All types of files may be shared using these tools. Some of the most popular file types include doc, pdf, jpeg, png, gif, mp4, mp3, and html. Instructors should always try to use universal file types that are accessible by all students (For example: Text documents: .pdf, .txt, Image files: .jpeg, Video files: .mp4, Audio files: .mp3, Web pages: .html). Instructors can choose tools that suits their course goals and structure. Instructors can decide whether to have the content secured by a login (ie. DC Connect) or freely available.
