PASS Program The Performance Alert and Support System (PASS) is a program that faculty can implement in their course(s) using intelligent agents in DC Connect. The PASS program was designed to provide early academic intervention for students in a way that is easy for faculty to manage. It supports positive course progress by alerting students to their academic standing in that course through personalized, colour-coded emails (green, yellow and red) sent at set intervals throughout the semester. Accessing the PASS Program Faculty will need to request access to the PASS Program learning module in DC Connect by filling out one of the two form options at the bottom of this page to be granted access. Once you have access to the PASS learning module, you can find it in DC Connect by searching "PASS Program". The program has been designed as a DC Connect module that contains instructions on how faculty can use it and how they can import it directly into their course. Plug and Play There are 2 simple ways to set it up: through the pre-set intelligent agent package, or by following the detailed instructions that will allow you to learn how to set up the intelligent agents on your own. Emails and content are pre-populated but can be easily modified to suit the specific needs of your course. Once the module is set-up in your course, all you have to do is monitor the reports.
