Money Matters: A Parent’s Guide to Navigating Financial Aid for DC Students

Navigating the cost of post-secondary education can feel overwhelming, especially for families supporting a student for the first time. This webinar is designed specifically for parents and guardians and will provide clear, practical information about the financial aid options available to students at Durham College. We will help you understand key funding resources, including OSAP, scholarships, bursaries, grants, budgeting tips, and on-campus employment opportunities. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions during a live Q&A session.

Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable insight into financing your student’s Durham College journey with confidence.

Start Strong at DC: Access and Support Centre Transition Event

The Access and Support Centre (ASC) at Durham College is hosting a Transition Event for grade 12 students who identify as having an exceptionality and are planning on attending Durham College this fall.  We also welcome students who may experience physical, mental health, or learning challenges that have not been formally identified or have an IEP.

This event is designed to help ease the transition for students from their current secondary school supports and introduce them to the numerous services that are offered at the ASC and across our campus.

For those wanting to visit the campus, they can attend the events in-person.  Alternatively, we will be providing a live virtual option using MS Teams.  Guests need to register in advance for both options.

ASC Transition Event:  Thursday, June 11, 5 – 8 p.m.
