Adobe Express

What is Adobe Express?

Adobe Express is a user-friendly, web-based design tool—similar to Canva—that allows you to quickly create visually engaging content without needing advanced design skills. It’s perfect for creating graphics, presentations, videos, and documents for your courses.

Why use Adobe Express?

• Create Engaging Graphics: Design visually appealing images for use within DC Connect content, announcements, course emails, or social media posts to capture student attention and boost engagement.
• Clarify and Visualize Course Content: Convert complex course materials into clear, visually appealing infographics or cheat sheets. These visuals help students quickly grasp expectations and key concepts, supporting better comprehension and diverse learning styles.
• Build Interactive Presentations: Develop multimedia-rich slides that combine text, visuals, and embedded video for dynamic, interactive lessons.
• Produce Instructional & Explainer Videos: Quickly create short videos with text overlays, images, and audio narration for course introductions or teasers, bite-sized content explainers, or lecture highlights. (Note: Screen recording is NOT currently available in Adobe Express)
• Save Time with Quick Actions: Adobe Express offers one-click tools for one off tasks such as generating QR codes, removing an image background, resizing graphics and trimming or merging videos.

Accessing Adobe Express

• Visit https://express.adobe.com/
• When prompted, login using your Durham College email address and then select Company or School Account when prompted. You will then be redirected to the typical Durham College SSO login screen.
• Once logged in, you will see a screen similar to this:
