Modify a Quiz Edit: A Quiz Making changes to a quiz is relatively simple. Note: If the quiz is available to students, we recommend waiting until it is closed before making any changes. See the Quiz Tips and Troubleshooting help page for quick fixes to common problems. Select Quizzes from the course navbar. Click on the quiz name. Make your changes. Click the Save button to remain in the quiz (or Save and Close to save your changes and exit the quiz). Edit: Multiple Quizzes at Once Use the Bulk Edit tool to edit multiple quizzes at the same time. Place check marks next to each quiz you want to edit. Click the Bulk Edit icon. In the window that appears, you can: Change a quiz Name Move a quiz into a new Category (if you are using categories) Add a new Category Hide the quiz from students Change the number of times a student can take a quiz using the drop-down menus in the Attempts Allowed column When you are finished, click the Save button to save your edits and return to the quiz list. Reorder: Your Quizzes D2L lists quizzes in the order that you create them. You can change that order at any time. Note: Students see the same order as you do. Click the More Actions button. Select Reorder from the menu that appears. Use the drop-down menus in the Sort Order column to reorder your quizzes. Assign a 1 to the quiz you want first, a 2 to the quiz you want second, and so forth. When you are finished, click the Save button to save your edits and return to the quiz list. Copy: A Quiz It is possible to create a copy of an existing quiz. Select Quizzes from the course navbar. Click the More Actions button. Select Copy from the drop down menu. Use the Quiz to Copy drop down menu to select the quiz that you want to copy. Give your new Quiz a Name. By default, the New Quiz Name will be "Copy of.." followed by the name of the source quiz. Uncheck the Hide from Users box to make the quiz visible to students. If you want to make further changes to this copy, click the Edit Quiz after copy completes option. This will take you to the quizzes' edit window. When you are finished, click the Save button to save your edits and return to the quiz list. Delete: A Single Quiz When you delete a quiz, you delete the quiz and all student attempts (students' completed quizzes). Before deleting, be sure you do not need that information. Note: If you created questions in the Question Library and imported them into your quiz, you can delete the quiz without losing the questions. If you created your questions from within the quiz, first import them into the Question Library for safe-keeping. Click ton the caret to open the quiz's Action menu. Select Delete. A pop-up Confirmation window will appear. Click the Delete button. Delete: Multiple Quizzes at Once You can delete multiple quizzes at once. Remember you also delete all student attempts (students' completed quizzes). Make sure you know what you are deleting first. Note: If you created questions in the Question Library and imported them into your quiz, you can delete the quiz without losing the questions.
