How The Course Progress Hub Works

This is an example of the hub seen on the course homepage. The pie chart shows an overview of the entire class progress related to class averages. In this example, above 61% is determined as the ‘green’ range; 50%-61% is the ‘yellow’ range, and less than or equal to 50% is the ‘red’ range.

Note

Faculty can change these ranges in the settings. For example if a passing grade in the course is 70%, this should be reflected as the green range. Ranges can be set by either clicking the modify the acceptable percentages in settings link or clicking the settings button with the gear icon in the bottom left corner. This process is explained in more detail in the Modifying Settings section.

Important

The hub is automatically collapsed for faculty to support confidentiality during screen-sharing activities in DC Connect.

To make it available, please click Click here for Course Progress Hub button. The hub will return to the default collapsed setting once you leave the course or DC Connect.
