The Centre for Professional and Part-time Learning launches new Cannabis Essentials for Health Professionals course

The Centre for Professional and Part-time Learning is pleased to announce the launch of our Medical Cannabis Essentials for Health Professionals course this fall.

Designed as an introductory course for health professionals seeking to better understand medical cannabis in the context of client-centered care, this facilitated, live online course is delivered over the span of a weekend.

Those engaging in the course will learn more about the endocannabinoid system as well as cannabinoids, terpenes, cannabis consumption methods, pharmacokinetic action and cannabis strains.    With research related to medical cannabis continuously evolving, the potential of medical cannabis as a possible option in the treatment of various medical conditions will be discussed.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a digital badge that can be added to an e-portfolio, a LinkedIn page, and more.
