Field Placement 1

Field placement provides a practical opportunity for students to demonstrate some of the vocational program standards. Students develop technical skills through the application of the knowledge gained in the prerequisite courses. Students also have the opportunity to observe the ethical application of behavioural principles/techniques. Students are required to complete a placement in an Applied Behaviour Analysis program for children or adults with autism spectrum disorder. Students are also required to complete these hours on a full-time schedule during agency business hours. Students must complete Safe Management Crisis Intervention Training© prior to field placement.
