Fundamentals Of Digital Audio And Video Production
This course will teach students digital audio & video production and cinematography language theory through experimentation, in-class demonstration, lectures, reading discussions, and hands-on projects. Students will also receive in-class knowledge and will exercise it generously throughout the course. There will also be critical reviews of experimental, documentary, and narrative video projects all of which will be supported by historical and theoretical backgrounds. This course will introduce the collaborative nature of video production as well as its intrinsic value within media documentation and storytelling. Students will have access to both individual and group practice, which will supplement the theory and class instruction provided.
