This course consists of 84 hours field placement and 28 hours of field placement seminar. Field placement I & Seminar allows students the opportunity to begin the process of integrating Social Services Worker theory into practice. The student is required to complete the assigned hours of field work with a community agency which provides direct client service. The seminar portion of the course is a mandatory 2 hour timetabled class in the program. In seminar class, the student will have the opportunity to discuss issues pertaining to field placement.
