Critical & Opinion Writing

This course focuses on all aspects of critical and opinion-related journalism, including column writing and editorials. Students learn to plan their writing using critical thinking skills then apply these strategies to produce both critical and personal essays. Content will expand on skills and techniques learned in Introduction to News Writing as well as Interview and Research.
