As an update to Monday’s message regarding a potential academic employee strike, please be advised that negotiations continue between the College Employer Council (CEC) and the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU), which represents full-time and partial-load faculty, librarians and academic counsellors at Ontario’s 24 colleges.

At this time, there is no impact to students, classes or assignments and all classes are proceeding as usual. Should the proposed strike action occur, Durham College (DC) will notify students as soon as possible.
